Jared Metzner Jared Metzner moved to Chicago from the east coast in 2005 and began tattooing under Rob Hixon at Tomato Tattoo at the start of 2009. Jared comes from a self-taught background in painting and illustration and has spent 15 years developing artwork for bands and other freelance client work. A shop like West Town Tattoo demands versatility in all styles of tattooing and Jared welcomes designing custom pieces, traditional and everything in between; always striving to maintain a solid, collaborative relationship with each client.
