Robert Hixon Robert Hixon has been making his mark on the tattoo scene in Chicago for over 20 years. Rob started tattooing in 1991 at Rob Oslon’s Custom Tattoo shop. After 3 years he joined the team at Chicago Tattoo and in 1999 opened his first shop, Tomato Tattoo in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood. When Rob is not tattooing he enjoys wine making, cooking and world traveling. Rob is also an accomplished painter having attended the Chicago Academy of the Arts high School and The Art Institute of Chicago. Rob is a versatile tattoo artist having mastered many tattoo schools of style but enjoys Japanese old School tattooing the best. His line work and color technique are second to none and welcomes the opportunity to explore custom tattoos designed specifically for you.
